Does the PreLicense.com course contain everything I need to prepare for my state insurance license exam?
Yes. If your state is listed in the course catalog, the course is approved by your state insurance department and is all you need to prepare for your state insurance license exam. Each state-specific online course is designed for insurance license candidates who want to prepare for the license exam quickly and confidently.
Is a PreLicense.com course available for my state?

  • End-of-chapter "Test Your Comprehension" quizzes let you evaluate your grasp of important subject matter before moving on to another topic. Immediate scoring helps students pinpoint subjects or topics that may require additional study.
  • Final mastery exams provide an overall assessment of your preparation for the license exam by testing your knowledge of each major section of the course.
Are state insurance CE credits also awarded for your Prelicense course?
No.
Can I repeat the course?
Yes. You have unlimited access, for one (1) person, to all the content and practice exams for 60 days from the date of purchase.
How do I order courses?
PreLicense.com courses may be purchased online or by phone. To order online, click the Course Catalog, and choose your course. You may also purchase a PreLicense.com course by calling 1-877-488-9310.
Can I order courses for other agents under my account?
No. The Prelicense Course must be ordered under the name of each person who is taking the course. If you wish to place multiple orders with one credit card, this can be done by calling us at 877-488-9310.
What are my payment options?
You may pay by credit card, debit card or check card. We accept all major credit cards: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover.
Are there any additional fees not included in the course price?
No.
How do I receive a receipt?
For online orders, you may print your receipt immediately after providing payment. Order confirmations are also sent via email.
How do I access the course material?
Upon purchasing a course you will have immediate access to the course after creating a Username and Password. If you are having difficulty, call us at 877-488-9310.
How do I set up a User ID and a Password?
You will create a Username and Password upon purchasing a PreLicense.com course. Thereafter you will use that information to login to your course through www.prelicense.com.
I forgot my User ID and password, how can I retrieve it?
Contact us at 877-488-9310 or send an email to register@prelicense.com.
What course delivery options are available?
Our interactive course is only available online.
Will the course be e-mailed to me?
No. Your course becomes available to you online immediately upon purchasing it, and can be accessed anytime through the Internet by logging into your account each time.
What web browsers can I use to view the course?
Microsoft’s Internet Explorer 6.0 or higher.
Do You Require me to download special software to use the course?
No.
Can I access my courses from any Internet connection?

Yes.

How do I access my existing Prelicense.com account?
Click on Login and enter your Username and Password. If you have forgotten your password, follow the instructions given online or call us at 877-488-9310.
Does my course expire?
Yes. You have 60 days from the date of purchase to complete your course.
How long will the course take to complete?

Insurance license exam preparation courses cover a significant amount of topics. The amount of time required to complete any course depends on your existing knowledge of insurance. PreLicense.com courses are designed to help you complete the course as quickly as possible, and may range between 30 to 60 hours to complete.

What is a passing score?
You must score a 70% or higher on the Final Exam to pass the course. Please note that 70% is the approximate score required to pass your state insurance license exam.
What happens if I do not pass my state exam?
If you do not pass the state exam, we will extend your time to review our study materials for an additional 60 days if you completed our course materials as instructed, completed the practice exams with an 80% or better, and took the state exam within 7 days following successful completion. If you did not pass your state exam, call our Customer Service Department at 877-488-9310 or send email to register@prelicense.com for an extension to the time you may access the course materials.
What is Your Guarantee?
We guarantee that you will pass your state exam if you complete our course materials as instructed, complete the practice exams with an 80% or better, and take the state exam within 7 days following successful completion of the prelicense course. If you follow these guidelines and still do not pass the state exam, we will extend access time to the study materials for an additional 60 days. If you did not pass your state exam, call our Customer Service Department at 877-488-9310 or send email to register@prelicense.com for an extension to the time you may access the course materials.
Can I print my online course material?
No. However, you will have an online notes feature enabling you to easily summarize important facts for later review. Your notes can be printed at any time.
Can I print the course Final Exam?
No. Online exams cannot be printed and must be answered online only.
Do I have to review my online course all at once?
No. You are able to log in and out of your online course as many times as you need to study the course material.
How soon after completing the course should I take the state insurance exam?
It is in your best interest to take the licensing exam as soon as possible after completing our course in order to retain the information recently learned.
What personal information do you store about me?
We require your full name, address, daytime phone number and email address. A credit card will be required to process your order online; however, we DO NOT store credit card information and all personal information is entered on a secure and encrypted web page.
How is my personal information used?
We only collect the information that is required to assist you with your courses. From time to time WebCE or its co-brand partners may send its customers information about products or services related to their profession.
How long do you maintain my account information?
Your course history is stored and available to you anytime online for a minimum of five years.
Is my personal information safe and secure?
Yes. We take precautions to ensure that our systems are secure and that they meet industry standards, including the application of firewalls for our Internet-based systems. All profile information is stored on a secure and encrypted web page.
Where do I find Your Online Privacy Statement?
It is located within our Terms & Conditions at the bottom of the home page.
How do you use my email address?
Once you complete an order, we will send you a reminder of your login information and an order confirmation for your records. From time to time we may send our customers information about products or services related to their profession. Finally, we may send you a reminder of your CE requirements the next time your renewal date rolls around. If you do not wish to receive these messages, you simply uncheck the “opt in” from your profile. You may also let the customer service representative know at the time of your order that you wish to “opt out” if ordering by phone. We never sell the information we receive from our customers.
Is your web site secure?
Yes. Any time you send or receive personal or credit card information, you will see a lock at the bottom of your browser indicating you are viewing a secure page and the data flowing to or from us will be encrypted. Additionally, the data stored on our computers is secured.
